Viewing and Exporting Course Evaluation Results (for Instructors)

Accessing the Results Page

1. Log into ClassRanked.
2. If you're not taken there by default, from the top navigation, go to Reports > My Courses.
3. You’ll land on a page showing all your course evaluations by term.
4. Use the Term dropdown to select the specific term you'd like to review.
   • Only terms where you taught a course will appear.
   • If the View Results button is disabled, results may not yet be available. If you beleive this is incorrect please contact support@classranked.com

Exporting Results

To download results for all your course sections within a term:

1. Select the desired term from the dropdown.
2. Click the Export button to the right of the term selector.
3. Choose between PDF or CSV.

📦 The exported file will be a zipped folder containing one course evaluation report file per course section (not a single consolidated PDF).

Viewing Results in the System

If you prefer an interactive view:

1. If enabled, click View Results on the course section card.
2. The page will show survey responses broken into the same sections used in your school’s survey template.
3. Click to expand each section and view question-by-question results as bar charts.

Enabling Statistical Insights

To analyze results more deeply:

1. Click the Report Insights button. This is the icon that shows a line chart with two stars.
2. A drawer will open with options to toggle key stats:
   • Average
   • Mode
   • Top 2
   • Bottom 2
   • Median
   • Standard Deviation
3. Select the statistics you want, then click "Go" at the bottom of the drawer.

Where Insights Show Up:

• Summary stats (e.g. Average, Top 2) appear at the top of the results page.
• Question-level stats appear on each individual chart (placement varies by metric).
